65 invitations (108 guests) are unaccounted for. People aren't sending their cards back. I wont start calling people until next week but you have to wonder about people sometimes. I mailed out 144 invitations with a guest list of 248 people. So far, from the ones we have received back, 84% have said 'yes' and 16% have said 'no.' The percentages are ok with me, its just that I wish people were a bit more considerate in sending them back!

I know exactly how you feel. I sent out my invites in Nov.....I've received about 20% so far and not only that but people are responding without names.

Yeah I should be but with all I have going on right now with mom, the last thing I'll be needing to do is hound people on the phone when I should be visiting her in while she recovers in therapy at rehab.

I think people always wait until the last minute. I'm usually one of them because I lose things or forget and find them again just in time. So, I really can't criticize. But I'm sure they'll start coming in this week.

I agree...there isn't a bride I ever met who didn't have a similar headache with invites..don't worry they will come in.

this is very common, sadly. we got quite a few responses well after our RSVP date. how hard is it to drop an already stamped card in the mail?!

yup same happened to us here as well. no name! thankfully those who didn't fill in their names put a return addess label on the envelope

Why even bother sending it at that point?? What did they think? You wanted their response card as a souvenir??
