???(with poll)

i have a question for you ladies - as we discussed earlier housing on long island is crazy. now, if you had the chance to live in a 3 br, 1 bath, HUGE kitchen seprate dr, large living room, 2nd floor apt with sep entrance (above parents) FOR $400 A MONTH RENT, not inc cable. Would you continue to live with your fh in this 3 br apartment that now consists of your BR, his office and my office
or struggle and buy a house.

My parents are getting a divorce so now i will be living above dad and 16 y/o sister. mom is going to florida..

would you leave? or take it for what its worth?
i think dad just doesnt want us to leave. He still has his 3 br place on main level. if we leave i know he'll be lonely. but if he was to rent this he could easily get 1500-1800 a month.. its HUGE What would you do?

I would stay for a year and see how it goes. We lived with our parents for the past 2 years and saved a lot of money...enought for a house downpayment. it was definately worth it!

I would stay in the apartment until you would not have to struggle on your own. $400 a month is great and it gives you a chance to save a lot of money. But make sure if you stay it is because you both want to not because your dad want's you to.

I would STAY STAY STAY!! $400 bucks a months!! You guys could save sooo much money!!!! You have seperate entrances, not living in the same space, why put yourself out, when you can save save save!!

If you move out can I rent it for $400?
