With the Cake Server Set... Thanks CHICAS!

(So let me try to explain)

After discussing it with Fh, we decided we should NOT spend TOO much money in the Cake server... for many reasons....
So i have seen some 'plain' ones very cheap... BUT i was wondering...
Can you add like Glitter things?
You know how you add those gliter things (Which stupid me doesnt know the name of it) on the Letters cake topper?
Can u add those to the Cake server too to maky it at least more cute =-)?

I'm sure you can add rhinestones but only to the handle .. I would also dress it up with a ribbon. You might want to check Michaels to see if they have a plain flat cake server set.

You can ask Adelz, she got them at Michael's I think and used krazy glue I think.

Yeah I bought the rhinestones for my cake topper at AC Moore/Michaels. I super glued them onto there so you would just do the same for your cake knife

The ones at things remembered aren't that expensive.
Wedding factory direct has them also, here's one with sparkle sparkling diamond handle
And why not spend some money on it? We intend to keep ours and use it in the future! I can't stand serving cake and having it fall apart! LOL.

To be honest, i dont like them...
I want something different...
The ones I saw in Things remember are $100.. Well at least the one we felt in love with.

We dont think we will be using the Cake server set after our wedding......

Sorry, V! Just got back to the computer. Yes, you can get the rhinestones at Michaels - although I think AC Moore is a bit better - I've had better luck there with different sizes. They're in the jewelry section - in little plastic bags. Get super glue with it also, a pair of tweezers and a lot of patience. They also have these stick on ones but not sure if they will work on the cake cutter.

You have to pick up the rhinestone w/ your tweezers and dip it into the glue and then put it onto the cake cutter. Because if you do it otherwise the glue will smush so that it will look messy.

I took 2/4 from work (and Fh too) so we can go look at servers & Flutes!
I will go to michaels/Acmoore and get the rhinestones!!!

Not sure if you saw these...they have Swarovski crystals on them and they are on sale for $39.99 @ things remembered (im thinking that if you were to add rhinestones to a plain set it will probably add up to the amount to buy these)
