i remember reading about the differences from one Post office to another...so now im kinda scared

HELP!!!

UPDATE: JP took an invite to the Post Office by his job this morning $0.98

i dont know what to do?!!! it would be easier to just mail them today from work.....the price is better too....but i dont want them coming back 'insufficient postage'

Re: question about postage for invites -- HELP!!

I've never heard of different pricing for different post offices, but I had my office's mailroom weigh my STDs and I asked them a hundred times 'Are you sure?' He told me, 'I personally have been doing this for 10 years, trust me, it's right.' And so it was.

Do you have any crystals or anything on your invites? If so, I'd take it to the post office.

*Technically* mine weigh at $0.78 each. But because of the rhinestone slide, they're too thick to put through the machines, so I need to pay an extra $0.20 each on them.

i have a rhinestone on mine

but my office has a machine...so it already passed through and got 'stamped'

should i still be worried? im so confusseedd!!!!!

Honestly? I'd just take the trip to the post office to be sure.

well I work closely with my warehouse and if that mail scale says it's $.78, it is.

The only thing is that if they're an odd shape - oversized etc, they're more. Id take them to the PO if you're afraid just to verify price, then ship from work with ease of mind.

I would take it to the post office to be safe - better safe than sorry!!!!! I would rather be sure just because you don't want to risk them all coming back with POSTAGE DUE on the front!

you would think it would be standard.

i am tempted to just go with the high priced one since i bought the stamps already but i am just nervous that might be wrong too and its even more. thats why i wanna triple check!

nope. The post office weighed it but you gotta take into account the fact that it's not bendable and the shape of it.
