within the ribbon

I am going to be adding a little card into certain invites that is wrapped in a ribbon - with directions to present the card to the usher for special reserved seating. I wanted to make sure that very close family and friends weren't stuck in the back... I am also going to put the Oheka info in that card for anybody that wants to spend the night. Again - I don't want that info to be given to every person invited.

Is this rude? I mean - will people be offended that they didnt' receive this little addition? It's really for my friends more than anything - we aren't having a bridal party of friends, and yet we have tons of couples that are just like family to us who we want to be up close and stay overnight. Oheka only has around 25 rooms and I don't want people that we aren't that close with taking up those accomodations. BUT - I really don't want to offend. What do you think?

Re: within the ribbon

'Inside the Ribbon' cards are very proper and a nice touch. Honestly I would use them for very close family and extremily close friends. I would limit the number I sent out.

You should send hotel info to all of your guests and let them make their reservations. First TELL your friends to make theirs now, then send out the invites with
There are only a limited number of rooms aviable at Okera Castle, if they are booked please call the Marriott (or whatever) at XXXX.
Then no one can be offended.
