Without LIW.....

How was LIW helped you?

I was just thinking about how I would probably be paying too much for everything because I wouldn't know what things should cost... and I would be planning the wedding totally in the dark and probably very frustrated!

i found amazing vendors from this site - my photo, video and i got so many ideas....thank god!

i would be completely lost trying to find vendors and stuff and i would probably think its impossible to plan a ny wedding on the budget i'm on.
and probably one of the most important things...i would probably be stressing out big time about a lot of things but liw taught me that its suppose to be a fun experience, not a stressful one.

I don't even want to think about it. In all honesty, this site and the people on it have helped me so much. I have found all my vendors through here and have learned about so much 'wedding stuff' that I did not even know existed.

seriously tho I agree with the OP that we would have paid sooo much for vendors when we wouldnt of had to and i would have probably mostly gone with house vendors which i have learned would have been

Overall LIW for me is great for ideas & new concepts. I love all of the creative minds we have on here & its interesting to see everyones different tastes & personalties shine through with their choices. I think that is so helpful for everyone not just me. When it comes to vendors i was pretty much good with everyone except for my DJ so you guys really helped me with that one. I was looking for certain things & gals you pointed me in the right direction. thanks!

Probably wouldnt have found my photographer, my favor inspiration, and a lot of DIY ideas

never heard of card boxes or knew a lot of things people did since i hadnt been to a real wedding as an adult before my own

This site is great! I don't post a lot but I get some much info from all you ladies. I just wish I knew about the sight before I booked my reception hall. I probably would have been more inclined to shop around more. Other then that LIW is a life saver!

as a OOT bride this site is uber helpful.
I can get opinions and do my reserch on vendors so when we final;ly do get down to LI to talk to vendors we can cut the list to a select few rather than like 20.

I would be CLUELESS!!! THanks to all of you ladies, I am aware of what I should be doing/getting.... Also, thanks to LIW, I booked with a pricey photographer lol!!!! If I hadn't, I prob. would be saving my 4k LOL!!! Also, anytime we go to see a vendor my FH never fails to mention that I'm a LIW bride and that I'm on it everyyyyyday!! LOL I'm sure it keeps them on their toes
