WM brides...cake question

So I heard a rumor that they were changing bakeries does anyone know if it is true

I hear that on here but i guess we will see tonight. They are suppose to have a cake tasting at the showcase tonight so we will see if its the same one whose cake i didnt care for at all

Hoping that rumor is true.....and fantasizing that the new bakery is Dortoni's!!!

Not going to the showcase tonite....can you let us know tomorrow if there is a new bakery?

i didn't hear anything about this but I know they were supposed to do a new thing with Sylvia Weinstock and an upgraded cake package. I saw the bakery truck pull into the showcase tonight and it was the same as before. I didn't really get to check out the whole cake table b/c it was crowded but they didn't even mention the new upgrade. Sorry

Just came back...

While they did not mention the Sylvia cake, they did have paperwork on her cake options with prices. It was in the corner.

Did anyone else find that the cake was a little more moist than last time?

I thought the chocolate was still a bit dry but the vanilla cake was much more moist than last time

I just got too. I didn't see the table with her prices. Mareen gave me a card but said we couldnt sign up tonight.
I loved all the food, but I was a bit dissapointed in the cakes. They weren't bad, but they weren't as great as everything else.

I went to a wedding there this past Feb and the cake was GREAT!!!

They had the same bakery there last night that they had at the previous shows and as per Felicia they are still using Erga. The cake was much better last night. It wasnt as dry as at the July showcase.

I have been to a wedding at Fox Hollow, and they also use Erga and the cake was pretty good.

The upgraded package with the Syliva cake was $15 per guest!!!! And if you want VH with it, it is $25 per guest. Call me crazy, but I'm going with the included cake!

I'm right with you Its2Snappy. I am going to go with whatever is free.....no upgrades no add-ons. I dont really eat cake so as long FH likes it we're cool
