I feel so horrible for this lady. Imagine not being able to get up AT ALL? But her 'husband' should have called someone, social workers, or anyone YEARS ago to help her.

He wasn't bedridden for 6 years either.
There was serious neglect going on with that lady's condition. For her to be physically attached to the couch - she woudln't have been able to move AT ALL for months! I'm sure with the help of a few people her husband could move her over a few times a day.
Ugh I feel bad for the lady but am so disgusted by how she lived. I mean breathing in that putrid air. No wonder she had emphysema.

I hope they consider filing negligence charges against her 'husband.' How do you let someone do that for 6 years? And if she wasn't getting off the couch that means he was feeding her and where did she go to the bathroom? Was she in a diaper? Did she just go on the couch?
