Women Voters...(2nd Attempt)

I heard a news report that said many women don't go out and vote .. for various reasons...

So .. women ..

i have a weird question...

i am registered with my maiden name and have every intention to vote for kerry. however, now that i am in the process of changing my name how does that affect my voting? can i still vote under my maiden name?

I also have this problem, for some reason (even though I checked the stupid box at DMV when I changed my license ) my voting card came to my mom's house with my maiden name. I live in a new county, and it is a different board of elections. I was thinking of just bringing my passport for ID b/c that still has my married name too!

BTW...I will absolutely vote & will drag in people off the street to vote too!

go to Rock the Vote

and click on register, and then it will have an option for a name change. but you have to do it ASAP b/c i think they need to receive it by the 8th (i'm not sure if its definately the 8th,, but it definately has to be in to them before next week)
