It depends who it's from... I got a similar call a while back and posted on the boards and learned it was a bit of a scam. Hope yours is the real thing!

Beware of these gimicks!

Unfortunately, when it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Re: Won a bahama vacation!!??!!

Oh it's fake.. I heard FREE!! DOes this sound FREE???.. it's for 4 days 3 nights, and you ahve to pay $77.50 pp to register for the trip.. and you have to pay $99 pp for port fees.. So your still paying $176.50 pp for a trip to the bahamas.and you have to pay for your ticket to and from tampa florida.. so free.. NO!!!and you have to go to Florida to pick up the package. And it was a recording.. I usually never call this stuff back but I did and sat and listened to crap for 1/2 hour.. so head's up.. it isn't real.. I did it at Davids bridal.. so BEWARE!!!

FAKE.... I just went through that with my FH. he refused to beleive it was not free. Yet we BOTH got the call. me on the house, him on his cell and he still beleived we both won and there was no catch.
I told him, it was fake, they want you too see timeshare,,blah blah blah.

Oh to be that nieve again. He was so disappointed.
