So I get a phone call as I am getting out of class today that I won a 3 day, 2 night trip at Viva Resorts. I've heard on here some of the girls think it's a scam. I set up an appointment to meet with the lady, doesn't hurt. What do you guys think?!

Me and my FH won the same thing a few months ago. They got our name from a bridal expo we attended, and they only call engaged couples. They have a little presentation at a hotel and show you how the cookware works. Show you a video, boil some veggies. THen at the end you sit down with the sales rep and they ask you if you are interested. If you are not, they say ok then give you two vouchers. One is for some online shopping spree. However the website is full of dollar store crap! The other voucher is for the 'vacation' which is 3 days and 2 nights at select hotels. (I'm looking at the voucher now) Hotels are fairfeild inn, ramada, holiday inn. You can only go to those hotels and what we found is that they are usually on the outskirts of the cities. And they choose which hotel based on the availabilty. Cities like miami, new orleans, honolulu, atlantic city. Airfare is not included. When you make your reservations you have to register the voucher 60 days prior to the travel date you want, send in the voucher with 50 refundable deposit, they will mail you a confirmation. Check in days are sunday-wednesday.
Oh, the cookware was cool, but a little pricey for us. If you brought the full line then they gave you a carribean vaction voucher too. No airline, just hotel.
We haven't used ours yet. We plan to one day. I hope this helps you! Get your voucher girl! A free trip is a free trip!

Yeah I won that also. The sales rep wanted to come to my house to do the presentation. FH was like no way! LOL

Yep I won that too along with my buddy chrissy (bobchris) I thought it was a little strange that we both got 'randomly' picked. When it sounds too good to be true it usually is. To be honest I don't want to go to anymore expos because its just a way for them to get your info and call and bother you from that day forward!

I would go! sorry lol some of the just want you to look at the stuff. My firend won 2 trips one from some pots and pans people another from a travel agent. They both gave her the envelope for the trip when they walked in so they knew there was no obligation(sp?) she had to look at their product ( for the pots and pans) and if she wanted soemthing great if not that was fine too the travel agent wanted to meet with them and see about their honeymoon. She sat woth her for 20 min and got a 3day trip they didnt even book HM thru them! so i would go and see or call them and make sure you dont HAVE to buy anything to get the trip! you never know if it will be a scam or not until you check it out
