Wondering if....

Curious to know if anyone went to or is planning a motorcycle themed wedding? I am planning a traditional wedding but plan on tweaking it with a motorcycle theme. Just curious because I could use ideas. One of our decisions is to have the Harley Davidson emblem as an ice sculpture. Our theme is being based around their motto 'Its not the destination, but the journey' and thinking of getting luggage tags shaped as motorcycles for favors. (do you think anyone would use?) Just a thought...I know you girls are VERY creative. Any ideas????

I like your ideas, especially if it really expresses you two as a couple. ONE suggestion though:

The Luggage Tags would be more useful if they weren't shaped like motorcycles. I think that people would be more likely to use them if they were more generic. That said, you can give them more relevance to your wedding by using them as Placecard (escort card) holders. You know, in the window where people leave their address information? Leave the address card in, but slip in an additional card that has the couple's names, the table number, and maybe put a motorcycle on THERE. You could probably do this on the computer. (this also might be less expensive than finding motorcycle shaped ones)

Other than that, umm, what else...

Do you know the Wrestler (WWE) The Undertaker? It used to be that whenever he'd enter the ring, he'd ride in on a Motorcycle, and Limp Bizkit's 'Keep Rolling' was playing. I don't know that entering your reception on a motorcycle is practical, but you could certainly enter to that song, or some other song people associate with biking, maybe 'Born To Be Wild'?

I know I've seen Motorcycle themed invites.

I can't think of anything else right now, it's Daylight Savings Time now and I'm an hour short on sleep.

Maybe you could make up CD's as favors with all songs asscoiated with motorcycles.

Love the dual purpose of the luggage tags. I have seen them shaped as a rectangle so I will probably use them. I already plan on buying the biker cake toppers. Amazingly enough, we have asked every hall if we could get announced in on the bike. They laughed and said 'how original' but not allowed. but we are having the bike at the ceremony and when they announce us at the alter we plan on reving (sorry for the spelling) the bike. Hehehe Thanks for your help. More ideas would be wonderful.
