Wondering what sheets to buy...

What are the absolute best ones out there?

What are sateen sheets? Are they the shiny, slippery kind?

The higher the thread count the better...(This can only be found in 100% cotton sheets.)
Some people will argue and say get a poly/cotton mix---but I definitely don't agree.

Sateen sheets are cotton with some kind of treatment that makes them appear shiny...But they are not in fact slippery nor do they have that true satin feel.


ETA: with regards to thread count, most commonly you will fin 200 thread count sheets...But go for 300, 400, even 5 or 6, but they tend to be VERY expensive.

go to homegoods. i just saw 450 thread count sheet set there for 49.99. i opened them up to feel and they were sooooo soft!!!

i have 350 from marshalls and they are very soft so i cant even imagine wht 450 feel like............
