Woo Hoo! Tasting tonight...

FH, my parents and I are going to De Seversky tonight for our tasting! I have a sore throat but I'm still excited! I will try to remember my camera to post pictures.

I was wondering though, do you tip at tastings and how much? Are there multiple servers to tip??

Have fun at the tasting! I haven't a clue if you are supposed to tip but my guess is if it's just you guys doing the tasting and someone is there serving you everything than you should give them something (tip like you just went out to a dinner).

I know, I took all of last week off from work and was super busy preparing for my friends from DC to come for memorial day weekend. Our first overnight guests at our new house!

I'm constantly tipping everyone and their momma because I am never sure if the situation calls for it so I'd rather not risk offending and FH thinks I'm nuts.

I actually didn't tip at ALL to the mattress delivery people this past week since they were late and didn't do much and I had serious anxiety lolll. Then I felt proud of myself after they left

No, I think there are other couples in the same room and everyone gets served. Does that change things? I will probably spy on the other tables

SOO much fun! They are actually my 3 bridesmaids that live together in D.C. I haven't seen them in months! They brought their two dogs so we had four dogs total running the house.

We got to use our new grill, firepit for marshmallows, made homemade pizzas, watched the memorial day parade in my new neighborhood, and went out to nyc one of the nights.

Best time in a long time! I can't wait to host more guests !

We just had our tasting and all we had to take care of was our waiter :) The maitre-d told us too (even though we already had ) hehe have fun!!!

Have so much fun! Enjoy all the yummy food!

To be safe, I would just call the RH and ask them if tipping the servers is appropriate... I'm sure they get the question all the time. If it is not a restaurant year round, how would you really know if you're supposed?? lol.. and if all fails, just tip.. If they don't accept tips they will let you know

I would give a little something if only one person is serving you.
