wood floors

wood floors

has anyone had wood floors refinished?
I'm looking for someone to do two rooms.

I used a really great company that came highly recommended. The company is called Good Fellas. They were excellent. I had them refinish the floors in the house and I also had them put in a wood floor in another room.

I don't know where you are located, but we've been using Aliperti in Huntington and we've been very happy with their work.

We used P&G back in 2001. They did an excellent job, we are very happy and I know so many people who have used them with the same results based on our recommendation.

did you need to leave your house for a few days?

were you home while they were working on the floors?

The smell was bad, but not unbearable. We did stay in the house after the floors were done, but on a different level.

While they actually worked on the floors, we weren't home. It creates so much dust everywhere, its almost impossible to contain it and clean it up! It's so fine it gets everywhere, even if you cover things. I think the best thing we did was have the floors all refinished before we moved in any furniture and stuff.
