woodbury CC/ ceilings too low?

I want to check out Woodbury CC for my reception, but from the picture the ceilings seem very low to me. I definitely want high ceilings. I want that airy feeling. Has anyone been there and are the ceilings that low? Thanks.

I had my wedding there in May. There are two rooms-one upstairs and one downstairs. The ceilings in the upstairs room are pretty high. I think the ones in the lower room might be a little lower but they are still plenty high to throw a bouquet, ect. They are not low like a basement.

I had mine in the lower room. I cannot say enough about the place- it was really great food and vert tastefully decorated.

I have been to celebrations in both the upstairs and downstairs rooms. The upstairs room is definitely amazing and the presentation is incredible, however, only for a big wedding. I am having a smaller wedding, so I would opt for the downstairs room. The ceilings are very low and that is part of the reason we are not having our reception there.

tina, we are planning a big wedding around 220, is the ceiling low in the upstairs room? The place does look beautiful.

I can tell you where the one in Manhasset is...take LIE to Shelter Rock Road exit. Go appx 1 mile (4 or 5 lights) till you get to Northern Blvd. You will see Lord & Taylor on your right, Filene's Basement on your left (you actually can't go straight anymore at this point) Make a left turn and immediately get into the righthand lane. Go to next light and make a right turn (Plandome Road - there is a gas station on the corner)..go down a few blocks - it will be on your right side. Good luck - it's very simple to find.

About how much should it cost for 3 hours for a Rolls and 2 white 10 or 12 person limos or a Rolls and a luxury bus?

The basic package for a Sat night in May was 95pp. This included a 1/2 hour champange and strawberries in lobby, 1hr elaborate cocktail hour(many said it was best they had ever been to) and 4 hr reception. He also threw in some extras for free. You can also add on additional items. We looked at like 8 or 9 places and wcc by far gave you the most for your money. The service was also fantastic

There are two weddings at a time but they are totally separate-different floors and even different restrooms. They also space the weddings out by 1 1/2 hours so there really is no way to see the other wedding. I did not even realized another wedding was there.

Mary...The upstairs room is amazing and the food is incredible. We went to New Years Eve there last year. You will really enjoy it and it will be perfect for around 220.
