WoodBury CC Past or Future Brides, Please I need your Help

Hi All,
I just went to WCC and spoke with BM Peter. He is Fabulous!!!!!!!! Anyway, if I would to have my wedding there it would be in the upstairs room. I really like it there but I just would like some guidance from any past brides or anyone that has been to a wedding there. I hear nothing but fantastic things about WCC. Being it's one of the most important days of my life, I want it to be GREAT as all of you do. So if anyone that has been married upstairs at WCC or been to a wedding there can you tell me how the set up was with the tables? Were you crushed together? I'm having about 150 people. Was it hard to get to the dance floor, being its on one side not in the middle of the room? Please anything would help. Thanks.

That's the room we're using for our wedding. I've never been to a function there, so I can't help you as far as the setup goes.

The fact that the dance floor isn't centered didn't even cross my mind. If people want to dance, they'll get up. It's not as though the dance floor is in a different room. I'm sure others will respond and ease your mind.

As far as guests being crushed, I wouldn't worry. The room is quite large and they actually close off a portion of the room if you only have 150 guests.

What do you mean close off the room? I know some of the room has a curtain that they are going to open up for my viennese hour. Is that what you mean by closing up some of the room?

I got married there but in the downstairs room. I can tell you that you will NOT be disappointed having it there. It was one of my favorite vendors. Not only were they so helpful throughout the entire planning process, they did the most incredible job that day. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with my choice in halls. I have not one regret!

I am getting married upstairs in December! I actually like the idea of were the dance floor is because the DJ goes in the back, and I am getting the Plasma Screen TVs so everyone will be able to see them from where the DJ sets up.

If anyone has pictures they can share post them! I loved to see centerpieces that you used in that room.

I absolutely love the cocktail room I think its so pretty.

My BM was Henry and he was GREAT! We had looked at 15 different halls, and had an awful experiece at Jericho Terrace that we were so miserable... He made us feel soooo comfortbale and I was so happy with everything he gave us. Also our food tasting was phenominal!!! The food is A ++++
There is suppose to be a show soon there I will definitly be going!

The vendor showcase is this Sunday...in the snow! I was hoping to go since we haven't booked a florist or limo yet. Too bad for me :(

My FH and I are planning on going but now it depends because of the snow????? Are you thinking of going still?

Yes, my BM told me that the showcase was this sunday. I also really want to go. But there may be too much snow. They won't reschedule it if there is too much snow? I was thinking of calling them and asking. I would love to try there food before booking.
