Woodbury CC remodel.....

I just wanted to let any of the WCC brides to know that they are going to be changing some minor things.

In the lobby they said that they are going to be changing the ceiling tiles and the couches.

On the second floor room (which I have) they are expanding the dance floor, adding a stationary bar to the back of the room along with changing the curtains and paint color. Also on the second floor they are going to be changing the bathrooms and the couches in the hallway.

They said that they are trying to give the place a little face lift along with making it a little more feminine. They said that it was not going to be anything major.

Really??? Yea, how soon? I want to go back and see all this!

I am just hoping they are done before my wedding.

ETA: I just called WCC and they are doing the renovations now and will be finished soon. Now I am HAPPY!! A bigger dancefloor... Woo Hoo!

Sunflwr29 I see you're having your recepetion at the
WCC. Are you having your ceremony there??
If so how are you decorating?

Thanks

Tann22,

I am not having my ceremony there but when I went to check the place out they had the room set up for a ceremony. On either side of the aisle they had these told candle holders that held about 3 candles each and it was decorated with fresh flowers. It really looked amazing.

Thanks!!

Did they say when this will be finished? Did they say what colors they were going to change for the upstairs room? The curtains' colors? I like the fact about the stationary bar in the back and also a bigger dance floor.

anyone know anything about the downstairs room?

i know they're adding some kind of glass covering over the garden cocktail area, anything else?
