So, I went to that 'unofficial' tasting/ expo at WCC a few weeks ago and found out that we are not getting a 'real' tasting of our own menu. I am a little upset about that. I thought you get to taste what you pick for your menu and cocktail??? Has anyone had a formal tasting at WCC? Why are they not doing that? I am hoping that if I make a big deal they will let me have that tasting...what do you think? Thanks...

Re: woodbury country club brides?
I believe it's sort of a group tasting, a few times a year. I believe I was told since my wedding is in August, I'd go to the late spring (May/June?) tasting. Not 100% sure on this, but I'm not too worried. I've heard the food is amazing.
Maybe seriously request to have your own tasting and they might be able to guide you. The people there are really nice...

Re: woodbury country club brides?
Is this true?? My mother keeps telling me that we'll have a tasting to decide on the menu. That's too bad!
Not to sure, but when we went to WCC (over a year ago) to look we had never tired the food there so it was important for us to try the food. We had a tasting with my parents before contract. We only had the food from CH they were setting up for a party. It was very nice we sat in a nice room and had A+++ service they gave us whatever we wanted, not that we needed anything because they gave us so much food. I went to the expo a few weeks ago also they did a wonderful job. I have pics in album.

Re: woodbury country club brides?
I got married in July of 07 and I did go for a tasting. We went on a Sat afternoon while there was a wedding gong on, and they brought in tons of food. There were a million CH things, and I think a few of the dinners, as well. I would ask for something like that. We thought it was great, and I had also tasted a bunch of the CH food when we booked on a Friday night. If you going during a wedding, they should be able to serve you something! Good luck!
