Is anyone getting the outdoor furniture?
I had an appt in august and they canceled on me, and i called my BM twice and left a msg and am still waiting for a call back... I think i may go out and rent it on my own

My FH likes the casual look of the white couches but I hate them! To me it screams Miami lounge which is fine, just not the look I'm going for.

Yes i like the outdoor furniture! i just may decorate them with my themed colors instead of those orange and brown pillows they have on them lol

It was at 7:30... then they were able to change it for me til 7:15, but i rather have it earlier, becuase of sun down. i dont want it to be dark. unfortunately another bride choose 6:30... (wish i knew who this bride was..lol)

Hmmmm I like the idea of adding your own pillows to go w/ your color scheme. That may just have to be my compromise lol

yes my colors are blk/wht and red
so i thought of getting some damask style pillows and red accents to throw on there!!!!!

I am a fellow WCC Bride....Downstairs room , getting married outside by the pool with CH outside... I kind of want to do the ceremony by the pond though i dont know i like it..plussss FH is 6'3' and doesnt fit in the other gazebo by the pool, he would have to duck down..LOL...but i guess we wouldjust stand outside the gazebo

just wanted to say hi to my WCCers (i felt bad 'stalking' hehe) ...

i just got married there in August and it really was awesome

ETA: i was in the downstairs room too and was working with Carolyn originally but then switched to Steve (we didn't like Carolyn lol)

i just got married there in August and it really was awesome

One thing with steve is that he's very nice but sometimes is no good about following up. As a result, my cake didn't get ordered until 2 days before my wedding (he was supposed to contact the bakery and give them my design, but he never did). So just be careful about that ....

One minor gripe i have is that I was promised the cordials bar and never recieved it. it was included for free in my original contract but i was a bit upset i never got it. Of course, i didn't realize it until a week after the wedding .... so my advice is to make sure someone (a parent, sibling, BM, etc) knows all the things you're supposed to get and make sure that they're there.

WCC was testing out a new hors dourve at our wedding ... we got the Grilled Cheese Shooters (tiny grilled cheese sandwiches with a shot of warm tomato bisque ... in a shot glass) ... it was THE BEST THING EVER. i would def see if you could get that at yours.

The best tip i got as far as planning was from a friend who asked me what color the linens were at her wedding. I had no idea .... she said that she had obsessed about the linens for MONTHS. The point is that you shouldn't stress & obsess over the details (none of them) because ultimately, people probably won't remember them too much.

Well no worries about the follow up, cause I am relentless and annoying lol, but thanks for the heads up on the cake, which is super important!!!

Yeah, I proud to say DH and I were the guinea pigs for that

You have plenty of time for the cake .... we were supposed to decide on it during our final menu selection meeting (about a month before the big day) but ended up putting it off ... Steve was supposed to contact me about it about 2 weeks before the wedding but he never did ... i had to call and email him a ton of times and finally got hold of him.

If you ask, Steve (and Jeff too) will give you almost anything you want (as long as they're allowed to do it). I was very happy with my decision to switch to Steve 2 months out, even with the whole cake almost-fiasco

Just got a chance to look at your pics, and they are gorgeous!!! You and your hubby look like you had a blast.

And I could sooooo see what you mean about Steve, he's really sweet and will give you whatever you want but looks like he's being pulled in a million different directions so you have to stay on top of him.
