Woodbury Country Club Wedding Tonight! ***UPDATED with review!***
So tonight is a friend of mines wedding at the WCC! I will be taking notes for you WCC girls! Are there any of you out there? Tomorrow, a review will be posted. FH is in the bridal party- I can't wait to see him in his tux! He went to the Groom's house to get ready. I will see everybody at the church which is at 3PM. Last night was the rehearsal dinner. It was held at Devenport. Great place- good food. Excellent service. I have been there a few times already and I am never disappoined when I go. I am off to get ready now. Gotta blow out the hair, get the eyebrows done and all that good stuff. I will be taking LOTS of pictures! I love weddings!

Alrighty. Here is the review!!!!!!!!! I thought I have never been to WCC but I was in fact there a very long time ago! The grounds are beautiful- I noticed that when I drove in. We arrived in the foyer and was welcomed with champagne and strwberries- which is a nice touch. I know a lot of RH do this. We waited a little bit for the CH to start. We then went downstairs to go onto the patio- LET ME TELL YOU- BEAUTIFUL grounds! I love the pool in the back with the fountains- def a nice backdrop for photos. They had a whole bunch of stations. The only thing I didn't care for was the scattered stations. I am used to staions being in a row. In WCC, they had them all over. So, I know we missed out on some food because I just didn't feel like walking all over the place. However, the food I did have during the cocktail was fantastic. We had pasta, fried calimari, steak pizzaole, and passed hor deourves- all delicious. It was time to go into the room to party! We walked in and she had the room next to the patio- I am not sure what it was called. But, I do know they had 250 guests. It didn't look like it at all when we were sitting down. The complaint I had about the room was the dancefloor- it was really tight. When everyone was dancing, you always got bumped into but whatever- I guess when you have a packed wedding, this could happen. The food was pretty good- I had the crusted salmon- which was really good. FH got the prime rib which I didn't care for but he loved it. It was very high in flavor which is why I didn't like it but everyone that ordered it LOVED it. So girls, you really have nothing to worry about- the place is excellent. Service was top notch. The servers who worked there kept coming over to us and asking if we were good and if we needed anything. Also, the food came out and not everyone was seated so they actually kept the covers on which was a nice touch. When people sat down, they rushed over to remove the covers- so they paid attention to the details. I don't know if WCC made her wedding cake but seriously, it was the BEST cake I ever had. It was chocolate with a really tasty filling.
As for vendors she picked- Skyline Code Bleu- AMAZING!!!!!!!! They had everyone dancing and were a lot of fun. If I didn't already book FM, I would have booked Skyline. I was even thinking about having them anyway but then FH said NO. LOL. Also, her flowers were from Flower Barn- very pretty CP's. She picked low CP's which were tastefully done. Her bo'k was stunning and so were the girls. So that's my review!
One thing I learned from this wedding was it really does go fast. We were a part of our friends' engagement from the beginning. FH went with the groom to pick out the ring, we were with them throughout the whole time and I just can't believe how fast it went. A year and a half went by so quickly. Seeing it all unfold yesterday made me really excited. Everyone kept saying to us 'your next!!!!' SO FH and I are really excited. We can't wait!
