Re: Wooden swingsets
I have actually been looking into them the past few weeks you can get them from Creative Playthings or wood kingdom they both have websites.....also most come with free delivery and installation prices range from $1,000 and up(way up)
Toys R Us and Home Depot sell them cheaper but you have to put them together yourself

Re: Wooden swingsets
We JUST ordered one last week from Home Depot. It is not one of the put-it-together-yourself models (though we looked at them too). Home Depot ran an ad in our area for a new line of installed playsets they are offering. The sales rep told me they are looking to compete with some of the high-end playset companies but offering lower prices. Here is the website http://www.installedplaysets.com/ . The prices range from $1100 - 3900 depending on what you want to get. [BTW, I am located in northern Virginia.]
My sister just got one from Wood Kingdom and is very happy with it, I'm not sure what they paid though.

Re: Wooden swingsets
we went to creative play things and wood kingdom last weekend, and the 'base' swing sets that they NEVER have are around $1000, for the most part the nice ones were aout $2000-$4,000. We went to cost-co and got an awesome set or $1200, it is the Rainbow brand. Creative play things and Wood Kingdom show sets that are cheaper but unavailable, but you only find that out once you walk in the place.

I called Wood Kingdome earlier about 2 sets thaty they have advertised for $1000, including install and delivery. They said they have both sets on display and can have them delivered within a week and a half. They better not be lying We;re going later today so we'll see how it goes!

yes, thank god my husband is very handy, but my uncle bought a similat set from Cost-co and paid someone $150 bucks to put it together, he called the distibutor directly and they have sale associates who put you in contact with the company.

I was at Bj's today, and their set is very similar to the one I was looking at at Wood Kingdom, but it's $899 at BJ's and you have to get it home and put it together yourself, and at Wood Kingdom its $999, but that includes delivery and installation. I think it's worth the extra $100 or them to do it
