Woodlands Brides

I heard that Maureen left the Woodlands (again!) Aaargh, she was my second banquet manager, and now it looks like I'll be up to my third. Just nervous because my weddng is in less than two months. Kind of freaking out! Has anyone else heard this?

ETA: Whoops, my mistake (my mother's actually). Maureen is still with the oganization, just in a slightly different capacity. The other banquet managers seem to have everything under control

My BM left before my wedding. Like my 2nd one even better....BM's are usually very experienced I wouldnt sweat it

ETA: I was not Woodlands bride...just saying my BM also left

dont worry. maureen is wonderful but ive been working with nicole at the same time and she's great. she was the bridal attendant before. also melanie is taking over maureen's position and people have told me good things about her. dont worry your day will go smoothly

I'm already on my third one as of today (not including Maureen)- and I have 6 months to go. I currently have Melanie as mine as she has been great so far. I wouldn't worry at all.

i am very sad about maureen...i haven't even spoken to anyone at the woodlands about who we will be working with now...



edited: actually just got a call from melanie from the woodlands. i had actually met her before and she is really nice...i think everything will be totally fine!

I was a woodlands bride and I went through 3. Do not worry. In the end it will be your bridal attendant and matre de that will be helping you that day make sure that everything goes perfect.

Maureen went to The Water's Edge in Queens which was just bought by the same group. I definately plan on calling her to pick her brain about vendors since she knows everyone so well. she is still doing the same thing.

Maureen was transferred to Water's Edge which is their new catering place. I've been dealing with Melanie form the start. She's been great and very helpful. Joe is the general manager who has also been great.

I booked with The Woodlands about 2 weeks ago and worked with Melanie. She seems great! I also spoke with Nicole on the phone and tried to find out some info about bridal showcases at The Woodlands.

I also booked at The Woodlands two weeks ago. The only one I ever worked with is Melanie and she is wonderful. I visited the mansion 3x before booking and bombarded her with a million questions each time. She was always patient and friendly.

Thank you! We haven't booked any other vendors yet. We went to our first showcase tonight and I am completely overwhelmed. We made a few appointments with photographers to start. Have you booked any of your vendors?
