Woodlands Brides

Thanks to a boring workshop I had to attend at work today, I was not in the classroom so I had lots of time to make wedding to-do lists and think about questions, opinions, etc. I wanted to post on here.

So, Woodlands brides...

where are you going to have your sweetheart table (that's what it's called right? where the bride and groom sit) set up?

FH's brother and sister-in-law got married there and they had theres to the left of the big french doors. I didn't really like that because I felt it was A) not centered and B) on her family's side only.

We were thinking of centering ours in front of the french doors and having the DJ set up on the other side of the dance floor. Only thing is, that's usually where the BP enters during their introductions. Any suggestions would be great.

Re: Woodlands Brides

FH and i have discussed this AT LENGTH. i dont want to be in front of the french doors because i dont want to be ON the dance floor. he does because he likes that we are in the center of attention lol. i guess it wouldnt matter much if we are on the dance floor because the only time we'll be sitting is wehn everyone else is sitting too.

we dont plan on separating bride and grooms sides so being on one side isnt really an issue i thought about, but im not crazy about being off center as well.

we are probably going to be next to the double doors across from the french doors.

We are most likely going to be in front of the french doors. Personally, with the shape of the room I don't like the idea of being on 'one side.' Therefore, we will certainly be on the dance floor, but we were even contemplating going in front of the french doors and having the DJ off to the side (on the left) where they usually put the sweetheart table so the introductions and guest entering can still go through the main doors. Put, like you all, we are still deciding! Any suggestions....let me know!!
