Woodlands Brides - Lighting?

Hi Woodlands Brides! I am getting married there in about a month and was wondering - have any of you had or will any of you have any additional lighting at the reception? Is it something you think is needed? TIA!

Re: Woodlands Brides - Lighting?

i didn't get any lighting from my dj package bc i don't think that club-like lighting will go with the whole decor at the woodlands.

i am considering adding uplighting to my package though...but i would do Amber uplighting to add a warm glow to the room

Re: Woodlands Brides - Lighting?

I am going to do some uplighting against the walls - just to give it a little more ambiance

Re: Woodlands Brides - Lighting?

I am not adding lighting...just going to let the natural light come in and candles on all the tables are part of my centerpieces...

Re: Woodlands Brides - Lighting?

Hey there,
this may be late but I was just checking on recent Woodlands posts. I booked my lighting through my DJ, DJs Unlimited, we did amber lighting throughout the ballroom and then additional up lighting on the back patio. For 20 lights inside and 6 outside it only came out to $650, which I thought was great.
