I am newly engaged and VERY new to this site. I just started to look at venues this past weekend for a nov 2011 (We think??) wedding. We were able to drive by Woodlands but couldn't do a tour because they were setting up for a party. And unfortunately I won't be able to go out to LI again for another two weeks. Before I get my hopes up, does anyone have any price estimates for Woodlands for a Nov Friday evening wedding??
Or any suggestions for similar style venue...we like classy but simple! Thanks so much!!

As for RH's with a similar feel I'd say The Royalton Mansion, The Carltun and the De Seversky Center.

ITA! These RHs def have a similar feel to the Woodlands.
You mentioned that you like classy and simple..you should def check out Old Field Club. It has a completely different feel than the Woodlands, but it is very classy and simple elegance. The cost is $110pp for a Friday or Sunday wedding and $130pp for a Saturday wedding.
