Woodlands Review
Some info for girls getting married at the Woodlands
Me and FH just came back from a wedding there and it was awesome! The coctail hour had a variety of choices: sushi, mashed potato bar with different french fries too, a seafood wrap station - looked like paella with shrimp that they were putting into a tortilla, another station that i forget what it was - maybe brisket? not really sure, and then they had a stir fry station - absolute best - i got seconds of the chicken stir fry it was sooo good and they also had duck - FH had this and said it was amazing - and then they also had a big station in the middle of the room with seafood salad, the regular crudites (spelling ? - the sliced vegetables), mozzerella with tomatoes and basil, sliced meats that i cannot remember. Also had passed hor douvres that i cannot remember either.
Tommy Tunes was her DJ and they were pretty good about trying to get people up to dance. This couple are in their 40s so they played older music to get that crowd dancing as well as justin timberlake and rihana to get the younger crowd up too.
she used flowers by brian as her florist and her centerpieces were beautiful.. Had roses with white hydrangeas and then two callia lillies coming out from the top - very pretty.
Service was impeccable. The waiters were always there refolding table napkins and having your glasses refilled with water.
Dinner and dessert was amazing - Woodland brides you have nothing to worry about!!
