WooHoo!! There is a small chance that Gizmo...

will be walking down the aisle with my sister.
I really wanted Gizmo to be there but I didn't have a way for him to get home after the ceremony. Now I have a volunteer, my sister's husband, and he will miss the cocktail hour. Not sure what to do

thats so nice of him to offer! if my cat wasn't so EVIL i would ask her to stand in for ring bearer (we dont have one)

That is awesome. I really wanted my two pups to walk down the aisle but I dont think the church allows it. At the same time, I would also feel bad if someone had to miss my cocktail hour to bring the dogs home. That's a tough one. Let us know what you decide! Enjoy your day :)

If he volunteered, take him up on it!! He must realize how much it would mean to you and is willing to help out to make you happy!

He volunteered...Bring Gizmo! You will regret it if you don't & you know you could have...I wish I could bring mine to the church but he will just lick everyone constantly!

The only problem is at that time there is a lot of traffic and I don't want him to miss any of the reception

YAY!!! does he mind missing the CH? we missed ours and I didn't really care...I just wanted food!
Is there a guest or family member that lives nearby that you could put Gizmo for a few hours?

Awwwww... is Gizmo secretly putting on his tux and practicing through the house. You can't let him down then

If someone volunteered and they are really ok with it I say go for it. Just make sure Gizmo takes a lot of 'pit stops' before he walks down the aisle.

The ceremony is 6:30-7, cocktail hour is 7-8, reception 8-12. We have to tak a famiy pic right after the ceremony, so he will have from 7:15-8 to drop gizmo off, and during traffic it can take up to 1/2 hour each way. That would make him late to the reception. I know my sister wants him there I wish there was another way!

Any way you can get someone who is NOT attending the wedding to bring him home? I would do it for you, since I live in Kings Park, but I work until 8pm tomorrow

Thats what I should do, but everyone I trust with Gizmo and to give the keys of my house is coming

Is there anyway Gizmo could just stay through the reception? I know I personally would feel way too guilty making someone else miss the reception/CH... especially my sister's DH... even though it was so nice of him to offer.
