I brought my invites to the post office today!!!
On a side note...last week I brought an invite, all put together, to the post office to get weighed so I could purchase stamps. The guy weighed it and told me it was a standard rate (.44). So I bought the stamps and went on my merry way.
This morning when I brought them to the Post Office to be hand canceled the woman weighed them to make sure the correct postage was on them and guess what......the postage was wrong!! I told the woman that I brought an invitation here last week to have it weighed and that was what I was told. She then weighed it on 3 different scales and they all said the same thing....I owed another .17 per invite.
So finally....after all of that, I put the extra postage on the envelopes and they are on their way to be delivered.
So ladies....just keep in mind that you may want to have the Post Office weigh your invite a few times on different scales to make sure how much they will cost to mail.
