woot!!!

so u all wished me luck last week. THANK YOU

yesterday fh and i found the perfect diamond for my Ering! after months and months of looking, we found a guy we trust... im sure u all know how sleezy jewelry salesmen are.

he was highly recommended by fh's fam. he ended up knowing my boss (my bosses dad was his sunday school teacher) small world.. anyway

we found the perfect diamond!!

fh just emailed me, hes like guess where i am?? and sent a pic of the waiting room of the jewelry place.

now on to finding the setting! it has to be custom made cuz im obnoxious and difficult.

awwww congratulations!!!!!!!!!

finding a setting i liked was the hardest part for me, so he wound up designing it based on another piece i liked.

FH did his homework on the diamond. i wasnt involved in that. thankfully.

tyy! gloria, fh told me to throw my current ering out the window lmao..he was joking of course. iwont part with it. it has sentimental value.. it shows how much of a psycho bish i am lol

have you tried tri county or attias? FH got mine from tricounty but had it re-made (custom design)...
or try ultra diamonds in the new tanger..

i dont trust tri county. i got so good with diamonds, but played dumb and i just saw how they were trynig to rip us off.. some guy showed us a 1.4 and im like uhmno WAY is this a 1.4 , r u sure its not a 1.3? hes like oh yea ur right.. it is.. ur good.. ERFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Wooo hooooo on the pretty new ring!!!! Its always good to go to someone you know and trust. My setting was custom made by the family jeweler FH bought the ring from. i had been sending him 'helpful hints' prior to getting engaged and he had the jeweler re-create one. (YES I AM THAT OBNOXIOUS!)

Anyway i think you should do the same. Look at Tiffany and Choppard settings. They have classics. Who cares about trendy rings. Its better to have something timeless than of the moment. It will take longer though when it is made custom.

PS- what happened to the old one?

i wear it.. not often though. i lost more weight and i think im a size 5 ring.. my ring is a size7. i dropped it a few times at kleinfelds.

ill be wearing my old 1 when i go visit more vendors lol

Agree about looking at places to get ideas. My ring is based on a Marc Patterson design that I absolutely fell in love with. But there was one small thing I didn't like, so FH was able to fix it because he had it custom made.

If you do find a ring you like in a store, have your jeweler take a look at it in person. He might think of some tweaks to make it even more special.
