Make sure you hold your boq down low. I made this mistake and most of my pictures, my boq blocks the top of my gown..... I still had alot of good proofs but it did ruin a bunch. just a heads up ladies....

Thanks for this! I can't believe your photographer didn't mention this to you - he / she should have noticed it!

During pictures AND during your walk down the aisle!!! I held it so high during the walk down the aisle you cant see my dress all you see is my arm and bok! the rest of the pictures I held it low

My Priest told e about this. It's hard to remember. Plus SMILE...all the time...and tell your bridesmaids.

that is good advice! my photographer actually told me that quite a few times, but I guess I was so nervous/excited that I kept forgetting to hold it low!

Re: Word Of Advise For Brides To Be! For pictures
Not to add another thing to the long list of worries that day, but this is something I noticed in a few friends' proofs recently that put me off ...it may not be something you care about though....
If there are going to be photographers at the reception, don't walk around with beer bottles in your hands. There's nothing quite like the image of a bride who has clearly spent the day primping to look beautiful dancing at her reception with a green heineken bottle in hand and her bridesmaids behind her with some bud.
Unfortunately RHs typically don't let you request that they put everything in glasses, but I got lucky and my BP only drank wine so there are no beer bottle pictures. It just seems weird to me that people spend so much time on making little details match and so much effort making themselves look extra gorgeous that day and then have a series of photos with beer bottle in hand. If you really like beer you can disagree, but it's something I've noticed in photos that just ruins the image for me

I didnt smile, I smiled the first 5 seconds...then when I realized how many people were at the church I freaked out and I looked like a deer in headlights
IF YOU WEAR A CATHEDRAL VEIL MAKE SURE YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER KNOW HOW LONG IT IS AFTER THE END OF YOUR TRAIN!!! I TOLD MY DAD 2-3 FEET LONGER AND IT WAS ACTUALLY 6 FEET LONGER SO HE STEPPED ON IT AND YOKED ME BACK!!!! FUNNY BUT NOT FUNNY! TELL YOU FATHER TO WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE ON THE ALTAR JUST TO BE SURE!!!!
