word to the wise when cooking.....

if you are going to use the broiler, please clear out whatever you have stored in the oven such as hot pink lidded cupcake holders.

Not only is there pink plastic EVERYWHERE, but i literally smell like parsley and burnt plastic. i actually felt bad for the people standing behind me in line at 711....yes i smell that bad along with my apartment.

oh and see how registries are good? i now get to register for a new cupcake holder, silicone bakeware and oven trays. SWEET!

another fyi - u can not put porcelain bakeware in the broiler - u can only use a metal pan or else they will crack.

I'm sorry! but you're right at least you get brand new ones now! always look on the bright side.

but it is kind of funny... I've had that happen too. FH stores things in the oven. Usually his leftover taco bell, in the bag, or a pizza box. He claims it stays fresher in the oven. I've turned on the broiler with a taco bell bag in there, and well... yup, it caught on fire. And he has the nerve to say 'well I didn't think you'd ever turn on the oven without looking in it first!'
