Re: Wording
i know i always go back to my friends wedding.. but her parents paid for the hall, dj, flowers etc and his parents paid for the photographer and they only listed her parents on the invites. However, if it was me, I would probably list both since they are contributing something. what does your FH think?

Re: Wording
I feel like no matter what anyone gave $ wise I would put my mom and his parents. I feel like its only right. I mean if his parents had a lot of money and weren't contributing that would be one things but they don't have money to give so it's nice they are giving what they are.
I say both. But we are paying too..

Re: Wording
I would probably list both set of parents names but you could also do
'Together with their parents,
Bride
&
Groom
etc etc etc'

Re: Wording
I think my mom wants her name on it- especially because my father isn't in my life so 'Parents' doesn't apply

Re: Wording
neither of our parents are financially able to contribute to the wedding. however we both feel we would like to honor them on our invitations so we are writing them like this:
Antonella & Francesco together with their parents, Mr. & Mrs. .. and Mr. & Mrs.... request the honor of your presence at the....
our names will go first since we are paying but their names will show on the invite.
HTH!
