Wording ? - Half after or Half past

Original post by Lucky2010

Our ceremony is at 11 but I'm putting 10:30 on the invites.

After some research, I saw the wording:

'Half after ten o'clock in the morning' but it sounds off to me.

Do you think 'half after' or 'half past' sounds better/is correct?

TIA!
