When you put your names down is it brides name first or grooms name first, or does it not matter? For example:
Bride & Groom November 2, 2008
Or
Groom & Bride November 2, 2008
Im putting our names on our favor and im so confused.

Re: Wording help
heyy, not that i know what im talking about but i think that it is typically the brides name first...even though i remember that all my friends gave the groom a very hard time when they saw on his program that the brides name was first...sooo im not too sure but if its a matter of opinion i think the one who put all the effort into planning the wedding should put her name first!

Re: Wording help
As far as I know, anything wedding related (invites, envelopes etc) is the only time that we will come first The rule is usually the bride comes first then the groom because you're not supposed to separate a man from his last name. Even though you probably will only be using your first names on menus or favors and things like that, the rule still applies. So you go ahead and put yourself first girl Also just go to any random wedding site and check out any invite, menu, monogram...the brides name or initial is usually first.
