wording ideas

i'm trying to make cards to ask FH's aunt and my uncle if they would do readings at the wedding. Does anyone have any ideas for working?
i was thinking of somethign like:
' It would mean so much to us if you would do us the honor of presenting a reading at our wedding ceremony on Saturday April3, 2004.'
but the 'mean so much to us' and 'honor us' all together are getting on my nerves.

ANY IDEAS OUT THERE!!!!!????

why dont' you just call them or meet with them and ask them?

otherwise, for cards:

FH (his name) and I would be so honored if you would do one of the readings at our mass.

I think no matter what you say they'll be thrilled you asked!
