Wording on invitations

Wording on invitations

I have my invitations and it goes like this

Mr. and Mrs - -----
requet the honor of your presence.

But now I was looking in a book and the word honor is spelled honour. Which one is right? Does anyone know? If I did mine wrong, then I will have to redo my invitations

I believe that HONOUR is the old skool way....It's perfectly fine to use HONOR. IMO.

But make sure you spell REQUEST correctly!!

DO NOT redo your invitations - that is silly to spend extra money - plus no one will ever notice. Plus to use honor is o.k.!!!!
