My parents are paying for most of it. I am helping out where I can as is my fiance. His parents are paying for the rehearsal dinner and for some flowers and photography.
Is there a certain way to word it? Or is this okay?
Mr. and Mrs. --- ----- request the honour of your presence at the wedding of their daughter ----- to ----- son of Mr. and Mrs. -------

Thanks guys. One more question. The part where it says, 'son of Mr. and Mrs.'
should I put their first and last names like 'son of Joseph and Linda Smith' or should it match my parents names 'mr. and mrs. steven jones'

I did the exact same wording...
Mr and Mrs John Jones request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter hmichick to luckiest man in the world son of Mr and Mrs John Smith
My parents are paying for half, and we are paying for the other half- FILs are not really contributing, but FH wanted their names on the invite. So this was the compromise.

I think that the wording you have is the most appropriate!
that could be the case...but do they know this...I know that DH's aunt and uncle (who hosted it for us) did not know this...so I did the invites myself
