What did you put on your response cards and how did you word it? I don't need to get guests' meal choices ahead of time, so I think mine will be a little 'bare'...
M___________________
___ graciously accepts
___ regretfully declines
___ number of persons attending
I know some people get creative with the wording on this... any suggestions?

Wording on response/RSVP cards
I axed the whole number of persons attending because I didn't want people who I wasn't inviting with a date to automatically assume that they were allowed to bring one even if the invite didn't say 'guest' I think eliminating the _____ number of persons attending will also eliminate some guests confusion. It may sound petty and something you would never think of but you'd be surprised!

I agree completely, I think it can lead to confusion. I think if anything in your text up at the top you can put something like 'We have reserved ___ seats in your honor' and you fill it in before you mail out the invite. That way it is extremely clear exactly how many people are invited.

Wording on response/RSVP cards
Wish I had though of the 'reserved _ seats in your honor' thing, I used 'number attending'. I'll probably have to deal with the repercussions of that lol. We did have fun wording:
_ Will be there with bells on _ Will be there, sans bells _ Unable to attend, though I hear there will be people wearing bells
I think our guests would come to expect something a little quirky from FH and I

Wording on response/RSVP cards
My wording is a little plain but I added the number of seats reserved so people didn't think they could bring extra people.
The favour of a reply is requested by the first of April
Name(s) _________________________
_____ will attend ______will not attend
_____ seats have been reserved for your party

I'd seen something similar on a website, but reworked the wording because i didn't like how it sounded originally
