Wording on Wedding invitations....

Hello Girls...

I'm trying to figure out how to do the wording on my invites. Me and hubby are already married!.. Got engaged 08/2006 ., got married 04/2007 (small wedding ). I never wanted a big wedding at first- that's why we went small. Then after a year and 1/2-guess what -- 'I'VE CHANGE MY MIND..LOLOL

Now i'm ready for the Big wedding back home in new york and im wondering if i should put my name in the maiden status or put my married name?? or word it as if we never goT married or do the 'Vow renewal' version.

I kinda like the version as if we doing it for the first time!

what u think??

since everyone knows you are married already i think it would be nice to do the invitation from u & your husband & put it with your married name.

Re: Wording on Wedding invitations....

Honestly I think it can go either way. If you are planning on sending out STD's, you can be a little informal with the wording like:

Together forever is how they will spend the rest of their life
Nothing is as sacred as the love between husband and wife

Although the vows have been taken, sharing them with you will mean so much more
So kindly save the date for our encore!

And then if you wanted to do traditional invites, you could. hth!
