Okay, this may sound super cheesy but some woman at my job who has been married 9 years gave me a piece of advice and told me I should pass it on to other people I know getting married so I thought I would share! She told me that right before she got married, her aunt had told her to make sure that at one point in the craziness of the reception and dancing, to take a step back with FH and just observe the party, even for just a minute. She said even the video didnt compare to the memory she got of just absorbing it all in and her husband says the same thing. So, I made a mental note to do this and thought I would pass it along!

just don't do this at the ceremony like i did
everybody gave me this advice too, but of course they meant just at RH. Well i did it at the ceremony when i go up to the altar. DH even had to yell at me to look at him and stop looking out at everyone. I told him 'im taking it all in' he said at the reception stupid not here. I wanted to do both. Everyone still laughs at me for doing that, they all asked me after what i was doing hahahaha
