Work

Work

Bad enough that I hate my job to begin with. On top of that I don’t really get along with my boss. Nothing really makes her happy and she expects a lot from me and gets pissy if I don’t deliver immediately every single time. I was starting to get used to this, though. But today my co-worker told me that she heard from her boss that my boss asked her if they could switch assistants! I am so hurt!

Mind you, I know I am not the BEST employee in the world (the fact that I’m on here in the middle of the day says something), but I do all of my work, and I go out of my way to make this woman happy and I don’t understand why she never is. Also, I’m not sure if I should be mad at my co-worker for telling me this (seems totally unnecessary to have shared that tidbit) or at my boss for talking smack about me behind my back while allowing me to believe that everything is a-ok between us…

Sorry, just needed to vent…feeling pretty down about myself right now.

Re: Work

It seems to me that even if you are the best it wouldn't be enough for your boss.

I would be upset that a co-worker knew & felt the need to dramatize it, but I guess it gives you an opportunity to start fresh with someone else......maybe it is just what you need

Good Luck

Re: Work

The thing is, this “switch” is not even going to happen. My co-worker’s boss told her she wouldn’t subject her to working with my boss (another indication of what a jerk my boss is!) I’m mostly just pissed that I needed to hear this. And also that my boss would say it. No one likes to feel that others aournd them are not happy with them.
