I'm so jealous....
No bonuses at my firm. Cheap b@astards. BUT I did get my annual XMas gift from my boss... leftovers!!!! YUP - every year he gets gift baskets from clients. He picks out what he likes & offers me what's left. Gee thanks Boss, I really need an unwanted cheese log & biscotti left over from 1973.
Scrooge.
YEAAAAAAH - congratulations!!! I'm sure it's very well deserved!!

I can't believe that I'm posting this but I got a HEFTY bonus today when I left work... I recently got a raise and promotion and then this, so close to the raise/promotion, was a BIG surprise. Today was the last day before VACA...
I don't have to return until NEXT YEAR haha... January 3rd, but it is so nice!!
I got in my car, looked in the envelope my boss gave me and almost FELL OVER hahaha!! I'm so happy-- we REALLY need this right now. I'm going to practically pay off a vendor with it!!! Can you believe that?!!!!!
I'm so thankful and happy- you have no idea! I also got two paychecks (this week and next week when we are off) up front!!![]()

I hope everyone else gets bonuses- they rock!!!!![]()
so once again I ask what do you do?
Congrats. I just got my bonus 2 days ago. I am going to pay off my charge with it. If it was not for my past bonuses in the past few years I've received from my company, i would not have the money in the bank right now to pay for my photographer. Thank goodness for those bonuses!!

I work at an Architectural Woodworking firm...
We do the store fixtures, cashwraps, mouldings, etc... all the wood you see in stores and the design lay-out. We mostly do 'high end retail' stores like Polo Ralph Lauren (our biggest client) and Oscar de la Renta...
We did a TON of stores on the Miracle Mile...
I'm my boss' Personal Assistant (his wife at work haha) and I take his messages, assist him, do all the little things for him b/c he doesn't have time to do it, get him ready for meetings, open his mail, assist in paying his bills, file and organize his whole life and of course among many other things: mail out all of his christmas cards, gifts, baskets, goodies, etc etc!![]()

I love him though so it's worth it- and I really like what I do- the days go by fast and the office is fun 99.9% of the time- we are always laughing, he treats us GREAT... Of course, there are normal stresses like ANY other job- but I love![]()

Well congrats to you. Its a shame I have a cheap a$$ boss that doesnt believe in bonues...
Unfortunately, I'm employed by the City of New York. Not only do they not believe in bonuses, they barely believe in paying a yearly salary that can keep you off of welfare. Thank g-d for FHs that work and make REAL money!
thats great enjoy. i know i was very shocked to recieved my bonus this year as well. though i dont know where it went.
