Work Clothes

Spring is almost here and if you are doing spring cleaning to get rid of some stuff, please keep this in mind! I volunteer with the Junior League of Long Island. We are an organization of volunteers (all women) who work to help women and children in the communities on Long Island. We have one of our events coming up called First Step. We accept suits, dress pants, button downs, etc. (Anything that would be acceptable to wear to work) We invite women who are trying to get back into the workforce to come to our headquarters and get the clothes they need to help them interview and secure a job. Many of these women are trying to get their life back together after living in a shelter, battered women's shelter, etc. So, if you come across any of those items that are taking up room in your closet, we would be happy to take them off your hands!
