Anyone choosing not to invite anyone from work? We didn't and one of the partners was kidding, I think, with me today about being invited. I was honest and told him neither of us invited anyone from work but still......... I hate those conversations!!

I haven't even told anyone from work for this reason. I may just tell/invite one person. So unsure what to do.

I too have that trouble - I have been with the same comapny for 8-yrs - I want to invite them all - BUT I cant - SO basically what I am doing is inviting just the ones that I am close with - see outside of work and in addition my bosses... Unfortunetly I cant ask them all...

Re: Work Invites
It was a tough call. I work in a pretty small department, so it was hard to invite some and not others, without there being hard feelings. I ended up just inviting the 2 other nurses on my shift, and one person from another department. Even then it was a little sticky.
I think if you work with a large group of people, you can get away with only inviting a few, as it is not realistic to invite everyone.

Re: Work Invites
I can totally understand about the work issue. Before my job closed I wanted to invite everyone we were all so close. But honestly, I maybe keep in touch with about 2 or 3 people. And I would have invited at least 10 of them if it was still open.
