Work out

Work out

After taking off a month from working out (hurt my back the first week and then made every excuse in the book) I starting working out again.

It feels great after doing it (cause I have accomplished it), but I don't have that love feeling everyone says they feel when they work out.

good for u!
I do not get a 'love feeling'.. ever!
I feel a sense of accomplish.. I certainly feel better physically, mentally and emotionally.
But I definitely dont love. And even though I feel great after workouts I still dread the next workout and tend to fall off track if I take too many days off in between.

i dont get how you girls all stay so motivated...

i can't seem to find that 'passion' for working out...i make every excuse in the book and the gym is literally down the block and yet i seem to still be able to avoid it at all costs!

i have no one else to blame but myself for all my fat..

stop that! You just have to push yourself and you will learn to love it once you start to see how it helps!!

haa i feel the same way! I don't really enjoy working out...every day that I go to the gym, right before I leave work, I'm dreading it and trying to make up excuses for why I shouldn't go. But, I go just bc I know its good for me and that I'll feel better when its over....

I do think that once you get in the routine for like a month or so, that you actually crave it and like it. It has happened for me where I actually do want to go, but I have to go on a regular basis for a LONG time in order to get in that mindset. Just keep going and soon it'll start to feel like part of your routine. Also, try switching it up to try and find something you love doing. I used to take a step class in college and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it!

Re: Work out

I should clarify by saying I dont really 'work out'. I power walk and jog. I dont have a gym membership.. and I probably never will. But i do enjoy being outside and walking. It clears my head and dropping the weight has been an added bonus. Granted the weight is coming off VERY sllllooowwwwlly. (I only lost 3.5 lbs in a month.. I am also on WW)
But I'm thinking as the wedding gets closer I'm going to have to add something else to this routine... I think I'm going to eventually hit a plateau.

As for motivation I have just made plans for dress shopping on June 12th. Thats sort of keeping me on track b/c I know if I go dress shopping when I'm super unhappy with my body I will end up having a melt down in the middle of the store
