So, how do I loose the 'pooch' below my belly button? I want that to go down and I know I also need to work on my obliques. Any specific exercises or food you people eat to keep from feeling / looking bloated in that area? Help. TIA.

Re: work-out question (WDR)
Leg Lifts. Hold on to the back legs of a strudy chair or even hold on to the bed post of FH's legs (lol) and, using strictly your lower abs, lift your legs to a 90 degree angle and lower. do 3 sets of 8 and work you way up to 3 sets of 15. These hurt like hell but they work.

This is great - I just started doing a lot of pilates so hopefully that will work . . .

Re: work-out question (WDR)
Leg Drop Strengthens entire abdominal areas: Lie on your back and put your knees at a 90-degree angle and your feet in the air. Drop your heels down, tap the mat, and bring back up to 90-degrees. Do as many as you can (to failure). Advanced: Do it with straight legs.
Steady on the Plank Strengthens abs and shoulders: Get into a push-up position with your elbows and toes on the floor, while pushing the area between your shoulders towards ceiling and keeping your stomach pulled in towards lower back, to support it. Keep your buttocks tight and your eyes looking at the floor (ignore the fact that you suddenly realize you have to vacuum). Hold the position for as long as you can. If you can last more than 1 minute, make it more difficult by dropping your chin 20 times out in front of interweaved hands, or by trying to balance on one foot.
both really good ab workouts

RUN
Seriously, you lose weight everywhere. I still have a little pooch but its gone down since I started training to run a 10k. Best thing you can do.
