Work Vent!

Ugh, So I was told in mid-December that I was not going to be allowed to carry over vacation days into 2009. So I quickly took off days to use up my vacation. Then I get in this morning and I found out that almost everyone else in my department were able to carry over days into this year!! How is that fair??? I wanted to carry over days because, well um, I am getting married this year!!! I am so annoyed. If some people are told no, why are others told yes? I don't get it.

Oh well, I guess I am going to be sick a lot this year...

Do you get unlimited sick days? FH has that but never takes advantage of it

I do get unlimited sick and I only took 1 sick day last year (cause I was really sick.) I really am not one to take advantage, but if I need to do something wedding related during the week, I am going to have to get a migraine this year. I feel horrible doing it, but I want to have time to take off for my honeymoon too!
