wow i was randomly on google today and i checked out their jobs section. those people are lucky!! it seems like such a fun place to work .. all these pictures of people hanging out and having fun.
They get free lunch everyday! and it's good food! (at least it sounds like it from the menu they have on their site!). And a masseuse, a doctor and a dentist on site! and when you have a baby they give you $50 from meals on wheels everyday for 2 weeks!
ahh there was so much more! im jealous! i just sent DH two job listings on there to apply to

this is what DH kicks hiomself for...he was offered a job at google in 2000...but at the time the salary was the same and he had massive stock options... we all know what happened to dotcom stock options!!! - and we weren't ready to move yet...
but i wonder if the pay is all that great? maybe they offer more benefits but have less pay than other public companies?
well the offer DH got in 2000 was really good...actually a bit more than he was getting in the private company...but that was before the dotbomb...they may have lowered salaries for new employees...
but usually the first thing they take away are the little perks...so I bet they are still doing well...

I use to wrk for a large software company that always makes top co to wrk for lists....sometimes places are not as good as they appear to be.
