Working with Vellum paper

Girls, does anyone know what kind of glue/adhesive to use on vellum paper? I am making my invites and i used regular glue and it soaked right through the vellum ... does anyone know what to use?

Glue dots? I've never used vellum. Maybe a scrapbooking glue pen? Will whatever glue you used dry clear?

i cant use glue dots because i need the paper to lay flat down ... i used clear glue and you could see it

double sided tape
or foam double sided mounting squares

you can still kinda see it... vellum is pretty see through so whatever you use well show a little.

thanks! I used a clear glue stick and it didnt show at all!

I use double sided tape when I use vellum. If you smooth it out correctly, you cant even see it.
